I just felt like playing around with layouts.  I saw one here that I liked, (I've taken a liking to narrow columns on diaries, makes you look like you have content) but I didn't because it was too stagnant. (As in, I couldn't play around with the colors nor edit widths/etc because it's largely composed around images, and I like my web pages to be mostly HTML because I'm too lazy to make good pics.)

Anyone else notice my adoration of simplicity out of apathy?

The major problem with this layout is, as you probably already see, that you have to have text running all the way down the page for it to look the least bit effective.

However, if you're a consistent blogger / LJer / diary writer, you'll know that one and a half entries should do the trick.

The other teeny problem being that large images would just screw the layout.  Most  people that use layouts like this solve the problem by using mundo cute little imgs, or letting the layout go to crap.

Hmm... If I were feeling produc-tive, I'd run borders down either side of this column.  But I'm not, so I won't.

If you don't know how to gank this code without me giving it to you, you can't use this layout.

(PS -- I have no clue where the dragon came from.  Picked 'im up years ago.  If you claim rights, give a shout.)
